We are proud to announce our partnership with UK Power Networks to provide essential energy advice and support to over 700,000 residents across Greater London, East England, and South East England.
This five year partnership, awarded to We Are Group through a competitive tender process, aims to alleviate the challenges of fuel poverty by empowering individuals with knowledge to manage their energy consumption effectively and cost-efficiently.
As part of this programme, we will deliver in-depth energy advice to 10,000 individuals, focusing on several key areas:
In addition to personalised, in-depth energy advice, We Are Group will extend general energy advice to over 700,000 individuals through a blend of online and offline methods. This approach ensures wide-reaching impact and accessibility to energy-related advice across London.
The programme also prioritises the welfare of vulnerable individuals, with plans to register at least 500 customers on the Priority Services Register. This ensures that those most in need receive the care and immediate attention they require.
Joanna Lomax, Consumer Vulnerability Manager at UK Power Networks said:
“At UK Power Networks, we are committed to supporting vulnerable consumers by ensuring they have access to reliable and affordable energy. Our focus is on providing tailored assistance and resources to help individuals navigate the complexities of energy consumption and achieve financial stability.
“Our partnership with We Are Group allows us to extend our reach and impact, offering essential support and guidance to thousands of individuals across London.”
Jonathan Prew, Managing Director of We Are Group commented on the partnership:
“The shared vision of ensuring no one is left behind is why we are delighted to be partnering with UK Power Networks on this programme.
Throughout the procurement process, we recognised that UK Power Networks was an organisation that held the customer at the heart of everything they do. By providing targeted advice and support, we will make a significant difference in the lives of Londoners, helping them to achieve financial stability and energy efficiency. And by working with us and our network of Community Partners, together we will bring essential support to customers and communities most in need.
We look forward to working with UK Power Networks on such a worthwhile programme.”
