This week, we are shining a spotlight on Lifelong Learning Week, a week dedicated to celebrating adult learners and championing adult learning providers. Our Skills Bootcamps, delivered in partnership with GMCA, enable adults in the Greater Manchester area to embrace learning, discover new possibilities, and create change in their careers.
We Are Group are proud to partner with Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) to deliver Skills Bootcamps that enable Greater Manchester residents of all ages to reskill or upskill, and take the next step in their professional journey.
Delivered online over 10 weeks, our Skills Bootcamps are designed to help people make a change in their career path. And by offering morning or evening sessions, we enable our learners to attend the course at the time of day that suits their schedule.
Whether individuals are looking to become a Data Analyst, Digital Marketer, Sales Representative, or Telecoms Field Operative, our Skills Bootcamps provide the expertise and knowledge needed to succeed.
During the Skills Bootcamp, learners are taught by industry professionals who have years of experience in their respective fields. Learners are able to ask questions, get feedback, and gain valuable insight into the industry. They also have the chance to build their portfolios and enhance their CVs, which gives them an edge when it comes to applying for jobs.
A learner in Week 2 of their course, who went on to successfully complete their Skills Bootcamp, said: “Learning so many new things, and I’m grateful for [my trainer’s] excellent guidance, making everything simple and easy to grasp. Looking forward to applying these new skills.”
Throughout the 10 week course, our learners are also able to unlock additional training accreditations in Google, HubSpot, Microsoft, Meta Blueprint, and Salesforce, adding further skills to their CVs and setting them apart from competitors.
Once learners have completed the course, they gain access to our pool of employer partners who look to employ Skills Bootcamps candidates into a range of job vacancies. This means our learners have the opportunity to get their foot in the door with some top employers in the industry.
