In August we celebrated our 10th Birthday Party! This milestone moment provided an excellent opportunity to reflect on how far the business has grown over the past decade.
The company began in Matt’s childhood bedroom in Banbury, where he had newspaper clippings on his wall of digital exclusion statistics and Race Online 2012, and he became the first trainer. Matt travelled to people’s houses and showed them how to get online.
Fast forward 10 years, we now have over 70 employees who are making an impact on the lives of thousands of people across the UK by working on providing easy access to digital services, support, and advice to help improve financial and digital wellbeing for everyone.
Our plans for the future are ambitious. Whilst we know that our services in financial and digital inclusion have helped a huge amount of people over the last 10 years, there’s always more work to do; including providing to those 1.9 million people in the UK who are still yet to get online.
