We Are Digital have been working very closely with the UK Home Office after the UK formally opened the Afghan Citizen Resettlement Scheme (ACRS).
From the 6th January 2022, the scheme has been prioritising those who have assisted the UK efforts in Afghanistan with resettling in the UK. These people stood up for values such as democracy, women's rights, freedom of speech and rule of law and vulnerable people, this includes women and girls at risk and members of minority groups at risk (including ethnic and religious minorities and LGBT+).The UK government aims to resettle more than 5,000 people in the first year and aims for up to 20,000 people over the coming years.
For We Are Digital this means a lot of people may need support with filling out much-needed Visa applications to the Home Office. We have been supporting these individuals and families with completing their Visa applications as quickly as possible to meet the deadline.
We have a dedicated team of call agents and interpreters to assist with the virtual form filling exercise within a short time frame, helping the Home Office achieve its challenging objective of having all applications completed by the end of February 2022.
